Multivalent
In this installation the audience is invited to read a speech at a podium out loud, speaking into a microphone. The reading of the speech is amplified in the space.. As they read, certain words such as "war", "peace", "love", "hate", trigger protest songs that are mixed into the soundscape.
Live dancers enter the space improvising and responding to the speeches and triggered sounds.
A projected video streams images, and questions with answers gathered from audience before they enter the installation.
