Technical Specifications

XR System
[1] Both of the headset build and stage manager console was made
from a single Unreal 5.5 project. The system is built for Meta headsets and communicates within a local network.
[1.a.] MR Build - the headset build uses Meta platform features for
colocation (lets two or more users, each with their own headset, share a virtual space or local multiplayer experience together while in the same room), and was designed to run only on Meta devices.
It is required to log in authenticated accounts inside the headset and during the process, there will be one headset acting as the host while other audience members will join as clients.
[1.b.] Stage Manager Console - An .exe (extension) file that runs on Windows-based PC. To communicate with all headsets, it will require the host IP and join the session as a special client.
There can be multiple stage managers in a session. The stage manager has the ability to proceed, go back, and jump to cues. They may also control the dialogue and SFX volume.
For the machine requirement of the console, a Windows-based PC with at least a 16GB RAM/NVIDIA graphic card RTX 2080 or equivalent would be the best.
[2] Headset - The headset used for the host was a Meta Quest 3S while the audience members were interchangeably using the Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
Please note that all specifications for the sound and lights were based from what was used during the show but should this be staged in a different venue, all of the design should be easily adjusted despite changes in equipment.
Sound System
[1] Sound Board - During the show, the sound was controlled through two
different boards. The Allen & Heath Qu16 Digital Mixer was used to activate the speakers, connect it with the device used, and mix the all sound files. Within the device, Qlab, a Mac-based sound application, was used to level and cue all sound files.

[2] Speakers - From the Barnard Movement Lab, the speakers used were 4 units of the Loudspeaker 1400w 2W RFC.

Light Systems
[1] LX Units - The lights design used the following units:

[a] Martin Rush Par 2 RGBW Zoom LED

[b] Kino-flow Celeb 250 LED

[c] Altman PHX Profile LED (white)

[2] LX Board - The board used to plot and design the lights: Speck CS40 Element 2 Lighting Console.
